Our Mission
Active Minds SBY provides academic facilitation for homeschooling families in the Salisbury, MD area out of Galaxy Gymnastics. If you want help ensuring that your homeschooled students are receiving a high-quality academic education, then Active Minds SBY may be right for you.

- Parents retain the ultimate voice in their children's education by selecting their own high-quality e-learning curriculum.
- A homeschool academic facilitation service is inherently small. Children will have the opportunity to build friendships, but will not get lost in the crowd.
- Siblings can be educated in the same space, knitting the family unit together and teaching students how to interact with children of different ages.
- Students are allowed to move through their learning goals at their own pace, taking more time when they need it and moving forward when they have mastered a concept. Students learn how to be self-directed learners, pacing themselves and feeling the reward of a job well done.

- Active Minds offers reporting support, with documentation of academic progress, field trips, and any extra-curricular activities that occur for reporting to your chosen umbrella group or the Board of Education.
Our Expertise
Active Minds SBY offers a structured academic environment to homeschooling families. We support families who value a high-quality academic education in an environment that is small, personal, flexible, and healthy. Active Minds SBY's staff are experienced educators who can guide children through challenging academics using a flipped-classroom model. We support Reading/Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies for elementary and middle school aged students.
Our hours of operation are M-Th 8:30am - 12:30pm.
Active Minds SBY believes that following Jesus is the best way to live life. While we are not a religious organization, we infuse Jesus-based values into everything we do.
